Why does Christmas music stop the day after?

Sure the answer is because Christmas is over with or you are tired of hearing it. I feel that you really get into the season about 2 weeks before and then continue that feeling til New Years day. So I feel that radio stations should continue the holiday music Christmas week. To all you bah humbugs out there you can choose not to listen but for us holiday spirited people out there....let the music play! Let me know what you think!
Merry Christmas from all of us at Croagh Patricks Pub and The Kevin Coyne Funeral Service!

X-Mas Ale! Is the buzz over?

The buzz begins back in the beginning of November on which pub in town is the first to get X-Mas Ale in. Patrons of all ages order the Christmas crack. Most people do not realize how strong the alcohol content is! A fact i heard from a friend who is a police officer says that fights in bars go up from the time X-Mas ale goes on sale. We are curious as to what you our patrons think of Xmas Ale?
Do something nice for someone today!

Kevin Coyne Funeral Service

Well hello there....My name is Kevin Coyne and I am a liscensed funeral director in the State of Ohio....people ask where are you located? I currently use multiple suburban locations in the Lake, Geauga, Cuyahoga county areas. I use funeral home locations that make it easy for your family to travel too. I can come to your house any time day or night and sit and talk to you and your family. I have been in the business for over 16 years. I treat every loved one as if they are my family member.
I was asked to write a blog site for the News-Herald on both the Irish Pub business and life as a funeral director. Both businesses are 24/7 jobs. Both are people oriented and both are very rewarding.
In the months to come you will learn a little more about each business.

May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the rain fall gently on your face
And may the wind always be at your back
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of his hand

Cheers.

Our Regulars!

What is it about our pub that makes us special? It is "Our Regulars". A Regular is a person who frequents your establishment a few times a month. One who you know by name. One who you know what they are drinking or eating. We know about their families and personal things going on in life. We have some of the best regulars that you could ask for! Our regulars range from policemen, firemen, school teachers, military vets, Michigan fans, auburn fans, old timers to 21 year olds.
All of us here at Croagh Patrick's appreciate our regulars because they are what keeps us in business and be able to provide for our families. If you happen to visit our pub you will be greeted with a handshake and a smile. You will see why we have so many "Regulars". It doesn't matter what your age, nationality, or favorite college football team you like is.....we accept you for you and want you to know that you have a home away from home to go to!
Come and be a regular!

"Ellen Hour"

Every day from 4 to 5pm during the month of December we will be airing The Ellen DeGeneres on all of our TV's along with stereo surround sound. Why are we doing this? If you are a fan of the Ellen show? We are huge fans! You will see that she does so many kind and wonderful things for families in need. We decided to pay it forward and we will be giving a % of our sales from that time frame to Camp Erin Charity at the end of the month.
What is Camp Erin? Camp Erin is a charity that helps young kids who have lost a loved one or loved ones in their life. My wife Meg was a counselor at Camp Erin this past summer and was blown away at how wonderful this camp is. MLB pitcher Jamie Moyer started the charity and his goal is to have a camp in every Major League Baseball city.
So our goal is to spread the word about "Ellen Hour" at Croagh Patricks and give a nice donation to a great charity! Please spread the word!
May the roof above you never fall in!
And us friends below never fall out!
